Description

The objective of this M&V project is to calculate and validate the effectiveness of a prototype Gas-Fired Absorption Heat Pump in terms of energy demand/cost savings and GHG emission reduction at the field monitoring site. The results of this project would also leverage EGI to support its energy conservation strategy planning by overhauling the energy use in the industrial/commercial space heating applications.

Scope

To install and study a nominal 80,000 Btu/heating capacity gas-fired absorption heat pump hot water in a field location (a large restaurant).
