Description
The Hybrid Heat Pump (HHP) system includes Gas Heat Pump (GHP) and Electrical Air Source Heat Pump (eHP) with Dual Fuel Switching System provides more efficient and cost-effective heating and cooling with lower carbon footprint and resiliency with dual fuel options. HHP technology provides higher efficiency as compared to the conventional hybrid heating (gas furnace and eHP).
The main goal of this pilot project is to design Dual Fuel Switching System for HHP system, quantify energy savings, cost savings, GHG emission reductions, evaluate occupants’ experience and comfort level, and gain installation and operation experiences of Hybrid Heat Pump by utilizing Dual Fuel Switching System and Hybrid Heat Pumps integrated system.

- Providing city and TSSA permits
- Monitoring and Verification (M&V) system Installation and commissioning
- Data Analysis and Post-Processing
- M&V monitoring system removal
- GHP total system removal
